The Opportunity
Behind every successful commodity transaction is a team making sure everything runs like clockwork, from contracts and shipments to invoicing and settlement.

We’re looking for a Trade Operations Manager to lead the KL team, supporting domestic and international supply chain operations. If you enjoy connecting the dots across commercial processes, leading people, solving operational challenges and making things work smarter, this could be the role for you.

You’ll play a key role in strengthening our global commercial operations, improving how work gets done and shaping the growth of the excellence team. 

What You'll Be Doing

Keep Trade Operations Running Smoothly

• Oversee the end-to-end trade operations lifecycle, from contract management to invoicing, claims settlement and reconciliation.
• Keep commercial records, inventory and accounts accurate, consistent and on track.
• Identify operational risks, resolve issues and ensure processes run efficiently.

Make Things Work Smarter

• Challenge the status quo and find better ways to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
• Drive process standardization, digitalization and system enhancements, including ERP initiatives.
• Lead the transition and integration of commercial activities into organisation. 

Lead, Inspire and Grow

• Lead and develop the trade operations team, building a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Set performance goals, coach team members and strengthen the team's capabilities.
• Turn challenges into opportunities to improve the way the team works.

Connect the Dots Globally

• Partner with global procurement, commercial, supply chain, finance, manufacturing and operations teams.
• Work across functions and markets to solve problems, align processes and deliver consistent results.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence improvements beyond your immediate team.

What We're Looking For

• A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Min 8 years of experience in trade operations, commodity operations, procurement operations, commercial operations or supply chain.
• Min 3 years of people leadership experience, ideally leading team leaders or managers.
• Exposure to regional or global operations and cross-functional stakeholder management. 
• Experience driving process improvement, transformation, digitalization or ERP-related initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with a hands-on approach to getting things done.
