Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, engine, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel-system issues.
• Carry out repairs and replacement of defective or worn components.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshooting to identify equipment faults.
• Perform engine overhaul and major mechanical repairs when required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained.
• Follow company HSE requirements and safe working practices.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform repairs as required.
• Support site and project operations when necessary.

Requirements

• Certificate, SKM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Automotive, Mechanical, Diesel Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
• Good knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience working with trucks, heavy vehicles, generators, compressors, or industrial/project equipment will be an advantage.
• Able to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently.
• Willing to work at site/project locations when required.
• Good attitude toward safety, teamwork, and work discipline.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
