Night Pet Care Assistant

Location: Putra Heights, Subang Jaya
Working Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Working Days: 5–6 days per week
Rest Days: Generally scheduled on weekdays
Break: 2-hour break included within the shift

We are looking for a responsible and caring Night Pet Care Assistant to look after our boarding pets and help keep our pet-care environment clean and comfortable overnight.

Our dogs follow a bedtime routine at night, so this is generally a quieter and less physically active shift compared with daytime operations. You will not be expected to be constantly on your feet throughout the night.

The main active periods are generally 10:00 PM–12:00 AM and 5:00 AM–8:00 AM, when cleaning, pet updates and other routine duties are carried out.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning and maintain a clean and hygienic environment
• Prepare and send photo/video updates of boarding pets
• Check on pets periodically throughout the night and ensure they are safe and comfortable
• Clean up pee, poop, vomit or other messes when required
• Observe pets for unusual behaviour, illness, injury or distress
• Report any concerns or incidents promptly
• Attend to pets when necessary during the quieter hours
• Complete morning cleaning and pet-care routines before the end of the shift
• Perform other reasonable pet-care duties when required

What the Night Shift Is Like

10:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Main evening duties, including cleaning, settling the dogs for bedtime and preparing pet updates.

12:00 AM – 5:00 AM
Generally a quiet period as the dogs will be sleeping. There is less active work during these hours, although you will still need to remain attentive and check on the pets when necessary.

5:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Morning duties begin, including checking on the dogs, cleaning, pet updates and preparing the space for daytime operations.

Who We're Looking For

You may be a good fit if you:

• Are comfortable around multiple dogs
• Are responsible, observant and dependable
• Are comfortable working overnight
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Are patient and gentle with animals
• Can follow cleaning and pet-care instructions carefully
• Are able to respond calmly if a pet requires attention during the night
• Are comfortable having your rest days generally scheduled on weekdays

Previous pet-care experience is an advantage, but training can be provided.

Important to Know

Although there are quieter periods during the night, this is still a pet-care position. The Night Pet Care Assistant remains responsible for monitoring the pets and responding when attention is required.
