Good understanding of Malaysian politics, public policy, government and regulatory developments

Strong research, analytical and writing skills

Able to connect developments across politics, policy, public sentiment and stakeholder interests

Able to turn complex information into clear insights and recommendations

Good understanding of media, public sentiment and emerging narratives

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Comfortable preparing briefs, reports, presentations and client-facing materials

Able to handle sensitive information and issues with good judgement

Curious, resourceful and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment

Experience in public affairs, government relations, policy, strategic communications, research or related fields is an advantage

Monitor and analyse political, policy and regulatory developments

Research emerging issues, risks and opportunities relevant to clients

Monitor media, public sentiment and emerging narratives

Prepare policy briefs, intelligence reports, briefing notes and strategic recommendations

Identify reputational and stakeholder risks and recommend appropriate engagement strategies

Support stakeholder engagements, meetings and policy briefings

Support government relations, advocacy initiatives and policy consultations

Prepare position papers, presentations and other public affairs materials

Conduct research, fieldwork and relevant outlet monitoring

Provide communications support during emerging issues and crisis situations

Support public affairs projects and client assignments from research through to delivery

Maintain stakeholder, policy and intelligence records
