Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance & Control Management:
- Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Quality Control Plan (QCP), and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) aligned with JKR guidelines and MS ISO 9001 standards.
- Establish quality control procedures, method statements, and inspection checklists for site execution.
- Monitor daily site operations to ensure works comply strictly with approved drawings, contract specifications, and JKR standards.
- Inspections & Audits:
- Conduct regular site inspections and audit structural, architectural, utility, and M&E installations.
- Coordinate and conduct joint site inspections with the Superintending Officer (S.O.), JKR representatives, and consultants.
- Manage the Request for Inspection (RFI) process and ensure timely verification of site milestones prior to proceeding with subsequent works.
- Material & Testing Compliance:
- Inspect, verify, and log all construction materials delivered to the site against technical specifications and approved material submittals.
- Oversee off-site and on-site material testing (e.g., concrete cube sampling/testing, soil compaction, reinforcement tensile tests, mill certificates).
- Maintain precise registers for all material approvals, test results, and compliance certificates.
- Non-Conformance & Defect Management:
- Identify quality defects and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) or Field Improvement Notices when works do not meet required specifications.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure prompt resolution.
- Perform pre-handover inspections and manage the rectification of punch-list items prior to final S.O. inspection.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date QA/QC documentation, inspection logs, material test reports, and audit trail records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC status reports for client, consultant, and internal management review.
- Assist in compiling final Quality Records and As-Built documentation for project handover.
- Collaborate with site management to maintain safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance on site.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
