Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required.

Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise.

Available to work weekends and overtime.

Capable of standing for extended periods of time.

1–5 years experience setting up and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines.

To operate and maintain CNC lathe and milling machines.

Set up machines based on job specifications and technical drawings.

Operate CNC machines to produce high-precision parts within specified tolerances.

Review sample parts against drawings or CAD models to ensure accurate production and take precise measurements for cutting/shaping tasks using appropriate machine settings.

Responsibilities in reviewing samples, drawings, or instructions to understand the specifications for the machine output, taking measurements and marking material for cutting or shaping, and planning the sequence of necessary actions for completing a job.

Selecting appropriate machines and their positions needed for a given job, loading material for that job, determining and programming the size of batches and the feed, maintaining proper temperature, and monitoring the production process.

Checking the machine output to ensure consistency with specifications, discarding defects, keeping records of approved final products, and performing routine machine maintenance or performing corrective maintenance actions.

Interpret and program CNC machines using G-code and CAM software.

Troubleshoot and debug programs to ensure optimal machine performance.

Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.

Use precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating CNC machines.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
