Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive to manage the company's daily financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, hands-on experience with SQL Accounting software, and the ability to handle a full set of accounts independently.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualifications such as ACCA or LCCI.

2. Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in accounting, preferably with experience handling a full set of accounts.

3. Mandatory hands-on experience using SQL Accounting software.

4. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin or other languages is an advantage.

5. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

6. Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to work independently.

7. Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently.

1. Manage and maintain a full set of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).

2. Handle monthly and yearly account closing, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

3. Use SQL Accounting software for daily data entry, invoice generation, payment processing, and financial reporting.

4. Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled in the accounting system.

5. Perform monthly bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and ageing reports.

6. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

7. Assist with SST filings, corporate tax computations, and compliance with statutory and financial regulations.

8. Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretarial firms when required.

9. Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit purposes.

10. Perform ad-hoc finance and administrative duties assigned by management.
