Immediate Hiring (Research Assistant)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Research Assistant to join our research team working on sustainable materials, waste valorisation, and decarbonisation.

We’re looking for candidates who:

• Malaysian citizens only

• Hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry or Engineering

• Have experience in material synthesis, biochar and material characterisation

• Have good laboratory, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Can work independently and collaboratively

• Can start immediately

• Candidates interested in pursuing a PhD are strongly encouraged to apply.

Research areas: Waste valorisation, circular economy, biochar, sustainable and carbon-negative materials, carbon capture and decarbonisation.

Duration: Initial appointment of 1 year, with possible extension up to 2 years, depending on project progress.
