Key Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in the areas of purchasing, merchandise sourcing or logistics management.

• Knowledge of dealing with the process of importing goods from International will be highly valued.

• Ability to communicate in Mandarin with our International suppliers.

• Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to secure the best cost and terms without compromising quality.

• Good Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written skills to deal with vendors and internal departments.

• Detailed Analytical Skills: Capability to perform cost analyses and track market trends.

• Excellent Organization Skills: Attention to detail for tracking orders, managing timelines, and maintaining records.

Job Description

We are looking for a Merchandiser / Purchaser with 3 to 5 years of working experience in home improvement or construction related industry.

The job responsibility of person will be to promoter and co-ordinate purchasing function within the One Stop Home Improvement Shopping Mall we have just opened recently, and to work closely with other operation teams members to ensure all the materials required are sourced and delivered on a timely basis to the destination.

Job Responsibilities

• Sourcing for materials from both our existing local and China suppliers to ensure all the materials required by the customers / project teams are delivered on a timely basis.

• Sourcing for alternative supplies or new products as and when required to compare prices, quality and delivery terms.

• Negotiating contracts, pricing, discounts, and payment schedules with suppliers.

• Generating purchase orders and buy approved materials, office supplies, or manufacturing components.

• Working closely with warehouse department to monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.

• Tracking all inbound deliveries, inspect received goods, and resolve any issues regarding missing or defective items. For China orders, co-ordinating with our China office / appointed logistics agents for all logistics matters as and when required.
