Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Electrical) to lead and manage the electrical scope of major construction projects. This role will be responsible for overseeing electrical engineering teams, managing project budgets and risks, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring successful project delivery from design through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all electrical aspects of the project lifecycle.
• Manage and mentor Electrical Engineers and project team members.
• Oversee the electrical budget, cost control, forecasting, and change management activities.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the electrical scope.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and cross-functional project teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery is aligned with schedule, quality, safety, and client requirements.
• Review electrical designs, technical documentation, and installation methodologies.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover activities.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and provide regular project updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience managing electrical scopes within construction, industrial, semiconductor, or data centre projects.
• Proven experience managing electrical subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and critical infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, cost control, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Data Centre, Mission Critical, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, or Industrial projects.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is an advantage.
