Role Description This is a part-time Financial Services Consultant role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in Shah Alam with flexibility for some work-from-home. The consultant will engage with customers to understand their financial protection and takaful needs, and recommend suitable family takaful solutions aligned with their goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting financial needs analyses, preparing proposals, and explaining plan features, benefits, and terms in a clear and compliant manner. The role also involves maintaining ongoing relationships with customers, providing regular reviews of their coverage, and ensuring a positive service experience. The consultant will collaborate with internal teams, follow regulatory and company guidelines, and participate in training and development activities to stay current on products and industry practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess customer needs, interpret financial information, and support sound recommendations.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance, Financial Services, and Takaful or insurance concepts to advise customers effectively.
• Candidates should possess Consulting skills, including client advisory, problem-solving, and the ability to tailor solutions to individual circumstances.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both spoken and written, to explain complex information clearly and build trust with customers.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in finance, business, economics, or related fields are beneficial.
• Previous experience in financial advisory, insurance, or takaful is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
• Comfort with basic digital tools and online communication platforms to support remote work and virtual customer meetings.
