Role Description The Trucking Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kelang, responsible for planning and coordinating daily trucking operations. This position oversees vehicle scheduling, route planning, and dispatching to ensure timely delivery and collection of cargo. The Trucking Coordinator communicates with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to confirm delivery instructions, resolve issues, and maintain accurate documentation. The role includes monitoring truck utilization, tracking shipments, and updating systems or reports to reflect current status. The Trucking Coordinator also supports compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards, and assists in optimizing logistics processes to improve efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• Strong logistics coordination skills, including route planning, scheduling, and dispatch management.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and tracking systems for trucking and deliveries.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with drivers, internal teams, and customers.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in handling delivery issues, delays, and operational challenges.
• Understanding of transportation regulations, safety standards, and basic vehicle operational requirements.
• Proficiency with office software and logistics-related systems (e.g., spreadsheets, transport management tools).
• Ability to work on-site in Kelang, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant experience in trucking, transportation, or logistics coordination; experience in Oil & Gas or related sectors is an advantage.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required to support operational needs.
