About the Opportunity

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a US multinational and Fortune 500 company, for a Junior Data Management Analyst.

This opportunity offers hands-on exposure to business data management, sales operations, and analytics within a multinational environment. You will work closely with experienced team members to maintain reliable data and support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Support data ingestion, mapping, and alignment across internal and external sources.
• Maintain master data and ensure data structures and relationships support reliable reporting.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain data used in Power BI and Sales Force Automation (SFA) systems.
• Support data governance, process standardisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Generate recurring and ad hoc reports using Excel and Power BI.
• Identify trends and provide insights to support business findings.
• Assist with reporting improvements and automation where appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience in data management, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong fresh graduates with relevant internships, academic projects, and demonstrated analytical skills are also welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Working knowledge of Power Query and Power BI, with basic SQL skills.
• Good understanding of data structures, data mapping, cleansing, and validation.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Open to Malaysian

Added Advantages

• Experience in data governance, data quality management, or master data maintenance.
• Exposure to Power Automate, DAX, or reporting automation.
• Experience in FMCG, nutrition, healthcare, retail, or distribution.
• Power BI dashboard development experience is welcome.

Employment Type:

• 1-month contract, with an opportunity for renewal depending on the company’s future direction.
