Role: Project Controller

Industry: Pharmaceutical / Healthcare

Duration: 6 months contract

Salary: Up to RM12,000 overall package

Working Location: Damansara Utama

Working Mode: Hybrid

Working time: 8:30am to 5:30pm

JD:

1. Prepare the Monthly Engineering reports with key KPI’s CAPEX, Site investment council etc
2. Develop Project cost Estimation and Value Improvement Review
3. Perform Project Risk assessment if applicable
4. Perform Project Cost and scheduling benchmarking
5. Prepare Project Controlling and Execution plans if applicable
6. Define Project Risk Management (Safety, quality, functional, project execution) if applicable
7. Perform Project Reviews (e.g. Technical Quality Review(TQR), Constructability) if applicable
8. Perform Project monitoring & reporting (Cost, Schedule, Risks)
9. Establish Project change management and manages changes
10. Execute Project Stage gate keeping and project definition level rating (PDRI) if applicable
11. Setup project claim management
12. Develop project phasing in terms of cash out and with Finance for monthly update. Work with Project managers / users for cash out phasing and monthly phasing. SAP knowledge is must for this task.
13. Route the Project charters, Car form A for approval based on SIC and work with Procurement/Finance to issue the PO’s
14. Manage Project Deficiencies and deviations
15. Create final project report and feedback project benchmarking data and lessons learned
16. Complete Project handover form and CAR Form E as applicable.
17. Maintain the SOP and other standards in Project Management / Project Controls.

Must-Have Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience in Project Controls, Project Cost Control, Project Controller, CAPEX Project Management, or Engineering Project Management.
• Experience preparing project cost reports, cash flow forecasting, CAPEX tracking, and budget monitoring.
• Good understanding of project lifecycle from initiation to handover.
• Hands-on experience with SAP for PO tracking, project costing, budgeting, cash-out forecasting, and reporting.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, FMCG, chemical, oil & gas, or industrial environments.
• Exposure to Stage Gate Process, PDRI (Project Definition Rating Index), Risk Management, and Change Management.
• Experience handling multiple CAPEX projects simultaneously.
