About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and people-oriented Employee Experience Intern to support initiatives that create a positive, engaging, and inclusive employee experience. The ideal candidate is organised, responsible and detail-oriented. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys getting things done, keeping information organised, finding documents and information quickly, and completing assigned tasks within the required deadline. The role will involve a combination of HR administrative work, information searching, coordination, bookings and general assistant duties. You will receive daily tasks and deadlines. Your responsibility is to understand the task, find the required information or complete the work, and ensure everything is completed on time.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities, events, and workplace initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve employee engagement and workplace experience.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team and assist with routine HR-related activities.
  • Retrieve, organise and maintain employee information, including joining dates, confirmation dates, leave records and other HR-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, spreadsheets, files and administrative documents in accordance with internal requirements.
  • Prepare, organise, scan and file HR documents and ensure proper record-keeping and accessibility of information.
  • Manage and complete assigned daily tasks according to priorities, instructions and agreed deadlines.
  • Maintain a daily task tracker to provide visibility of assigned tasks, progress, completion status, deadlines and outstanding matters.
  • Proactively follow up on pending tasks and promptly highlight any issues or delays that may affect the completion of assigned work.
  • Assist with administrative coordination, including bookings, reservations, meetings, appointments and other arrangements as required.
  • Conduct information, document and file searches and provide relevant materials or information accurately and within the required timeframe.
  • Assist with onboarding and employee experience programs to ensure a smooth employee journey.
  • Coordinate internal activities such as team-building sessions, celebrations, wellness initiatives, and company events.
  • Help maintain employee experience resources, calendars, trackers, and documentation.
  • Perform other ad-hoc HR, administrative and assistant duties as assigned by the supervisor or mentor.

 

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any business-related field.
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with less than 1 year experience are welcome to apply.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and using a laptop.
  • Fluent in English
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

 

Employment Type: Internship

Internship Duration: 6 months

Working Days: Monday–Friday

Working Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MYT

Compensation: RM1000
