POSITION: Safety and Health Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise management on issues pertaining occupational safety and health policies, procedures and program as stated in OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, CIDB Act 1994 and other related legal requirements.
• Plan, implement, manage and review occupational safety and health policies, procedures and program to ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
• Collect, analyze and maintain occupational safety and health statistics, key performance indicators and other relevant date for the preparation of reports to management and legal authorities with recommendation of improvement measures.
• Identity and assess hazards, risks and control measure (HIRARC) for work process in a manner consistent with established procedures and practices.
• Coordinate regular inspections and audit on machineries, tools and equipment at workplace.
• Develop, implement and maintain occupational safety and health internal training courses as indicated by regulatory guidelines, hazardous condition monitoring and use of safety equipment.
• Assist and become secretary of HSSE committee in investigate accidents and injuries, organizing and implementing occupational safety and health program at workplace and promote safe work environment and practices.
• Ensure implementation of QMS, EMS & OH-S-MS.
• To undertake other related jobs from time to time as directed by the Directors or Project Manager.

COMPETENCY

• Received appropriate Training Course for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and able to communicate with all levels.
• Register with DOSH (for Safety and Health Officer).
• Certificate for scaffolding and lifting.
• Must possess a valid Green Book.
• Attended basic training of safety and health at the workplace.
• Good leadership, communication and organizing skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
