Role Description The Product Costing Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Rawang, responsible for managing and analyzing product cost structures. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing costing for new and existing products, analyzing material, labor, and overhead expenses, and updating cost records in line with production changes. The role involves working with engineering, procurement, and sales teams to evaluate pricing proposals, support quotations, and ensure product costs align with market expectations and company profitability targets. This position also requires monitoring cost variances, preparing cost analysis reports, and providing recommendations to enhance cost efficiency and support management decision-making.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills for cost modeling, variance analysis, and data interpretation.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present cost findings clearly.
• Ability to conduct market research and market analysis to align product costing with market conditions and pricing trends.
• Basic understanding of sales processes to support quotation preparation and pricing strategies.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and costing software; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, electronics, or product costing roles is preferred.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple costing assignments within deadlines.
