REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in supplier management, procurement or supply chain, including leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, supplier performance and supply chain risk management.
• Proven experience in developing supplier strategies, managing supplier risks and driving business improvements.
• Experience in the manufacturing or aerospace industry is an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the overall supplier management function and set strategic direction to support business objectives and supply chain requirements.
• Develop and implement supplier management strategies to strengthen supplier capabilities, improve performance and maintain a competitive supplier base.
• Oversee supplier performance and strategic relationships to ensure suppliers meet business expectations for quality, cost, delivery and service.
• Provide leadership and direction to the respective functional heads, ensuring alignment of objectives, priorities and performance across the department.
• Oversee supplier-related risks and supply continuity plans to minimise disruptions and ensure uninterrupted supply to business operations.
• Drive strategic supplier partnerships, negotiations and improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance, competitiveness and long-term value.
• Establish and monitor departmental objectives, performance indicators, policies and procedures to ensure effective supplier management.
• Lead, coach and develop the management team to strengthen departmental capabilities and achieve business objectives.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
