REQUIREMENTS

•Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. ACCA, CPA or an equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.

•Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including team leadership experience.

•Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, accounts payable, taxation and statutory requirements.

•Experience in financial closing, budgeting, forecasting, audit coordination and internal controls.

•Experience in a public-listed company is an advantage.

•Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closing to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

2.Review financial statements and management reports, analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to support management decisions.

3.Oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice verification, payment processing, supplier reconciliations and payment schedules.

4.Ensure proper accounting records, journal entries, account reconciliations and transactions between related companies.

5.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company laws, Bursa Malaysia requirements, taxation and other relevant regulations.

6.Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and relevant departments on audits, tax matters and statutory submissions.

7.Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, monitor financial performance and highlight significant variances.

8.Strengthen financial controls and improve financial reporting, accounts payable processes and finance systems.

9.Lead, guide and develop the finance team to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement.
