The Assistant Construction Manager supports the Construction Manager in overseeing daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating site construction activities.
• Monitor daily work progress and project schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor site safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Identify and report site issues, delays, and risks.
• Assist in tracking material deliveries and manpower requirements.
• Support project documentation and record keeping.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Construction Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of construction site experience.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or data centre projects is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of construction processes and site coordination.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is an added advantage.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
