JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR LIVE HOST

Position: Senior Live Host
Location: Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, confident, and results-driven Senior Live Host to lead live-streaming sessions, promote company products, increase online sales, and strengthen customer engagement across social media and e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong hosting skills, excellent product presentation abilities, and the capability to develop effective live-selling strategies and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and host live-streaming sessions on TikTok, Shopee, and other relevant social media and e-commerce platforms.
• Present and promote company products professionally, highlighting product features, benefits, pricing, and promotions to drive sales.
• Develop engaging live-streaming content, presentation scripts, product demonstrations, and promotional strategies.
• Drive sales conversions and achieve individual and team live-streaming sales targets.
• Engage with viewers in real time, answer product enquiries, handle objections, and encourage purchases.
• Plan and coordinate live-streaming schedules, campaigns, product launches, and special promotions with the marketing team.
• Monitor and analyse live-streaming performance, including sales revenue, conversion rates, viewer engagement, and audience growth.
• Provide coaching and guidance to Junior Live Hosts to improve presentation skills, product knowledge, and sales performance.
• Collaborate with the marketing, e-commerce, and operations teams to ensure product availability, pricing accuracy, and smooth campaign execution.
• Stay updated on live-commerce trends, platform features, competitor activities, and effective selling techniques.
• Maintain professional conduct, brand image, and consistent product messaging during all live sessions.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in live hosting, live selling, e-commerce, or digital marketing.
• Proven experience hosting live sessions on TikTok Live, Shopee Live, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication, presentation, persuasion, and customer engagement skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
