Data & Analytics | Petaling Jaya | 12-Month Contract (renewable)

Our client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a dynamic, cross-functional team and translate complex business needs into high-impact analytics solutions.

The Role
Where strategy meets data. You will:

• Design and maintain business models across processes, roles, and organisational structures to support strategic planning
• Perform complex analysis to identify root causes, size opportunities, and model scenarios for decision-making
• Gather, document, and manage business requirements, translating them into clear functional specifications
• Engage stakeholders through workshops and meetings to align requirements with business objectives
• Lead testing, validation, and quality assurance of data products and analytics solutions
• Manage and guide Data Stewards, ensuring strong governance, data quality, and adherence to enterprise standards
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across analytics usage and data management practices

What We're Looking For
You're analytical, collaborative, and outcomes-focused. To be considered, you will need:

• At least 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
• Exposure to data governance, data quality, or stewardship frameworks
• Proficiency in Power BI, Google Analytics, BigQuery, and Looker Studio
• Strong skills in Advanced Excel, DAX, and data modelling concepts
• Familiarity with LeanIX and CBAP or PMI-PBA certification are both advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
