Company Description

Melewar Steel Tube Sdn Bhd ("MST"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mycron Steel Berhad, was incorporated on 24th February 1969, as a Malaysian-Japanese joint venture into the steel pipe manufacturing industry.

At present, MST has an installed capacity of 148,800 metric tonnes per annum. MST’s products are widely used in the construction, furniture, automotive, bicycle, and engineering industries. After more than five decades of experience in the steel pipe industry, the brand MIG-MELEWAR and AURORA Conduit spells quality, having made its name in the steel pipe industry where its products are highly acclaimed by both local and international consumers.

Role Description<

1. Handle customer enquiries and prepare quotations based on pricing and stock availability.

2. Process customer Purchase Orders (PO) and accurately key in order details into the system for processing.

3. Monitor outstanding orders and book truck to ensure timely delivery to customers.

4. Prepare Mill Certificates and ensure K2 Forms are provided to customers in a timely manner.

5. Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics on delivery arrangements.

6. Prepare and maintain required documentation for export shipments and export rebate claims.

7. Liaise with customers on order status, delivery schedules and documentation requirements.

8. Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Logistics and Finance to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

9. Assist with audit requirements by preparing and providing the necessary supporting documentation when required.

Qualifications

Education : Degree

1. Preferably with sales experience in the steel industry or a related industrial sector.

2. Fluent in Mandarin, with Mandarin as the primary language of communication; good command of English would be an added advantage.

3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

4. Proficient in Microsoft Office
