• 2–4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or a related role.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Proactive and able to independently identify opportunities rather than waiting for instructions.
• Comfortable communicating with clients and presenting content ideas and recommendations.
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting is an advantage.

About the Role

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day management, growth, and performance of our clients' social media accounts.

This is a hands-on management role. You will be responsible for developing content strategies, overseeing content creation, identifying trends and opportunities, managing client requests, and leading the Social Media Executive to ensure all deliverables are executed effectively and on time.

The ideal candidate is someone who is highly familiar with social media culture and trends, understands what makes content perform, and is proactive in turning trends and opportunities into relevant content for brands.

Key Responsibilities

Client Social Media Management

• Manage the day-to-day social media accounts of multiple clients across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Threads.
• Develop and execute social media strategies and monthly content plans based on client objectives.
• Plan and manage monthly content calendars, ensuring consistent and timely posting.
• Create, review, and oversee social media content including captions, static posts, short-form videos, Reels, TikToks, and other relevant formats.
• Ensure all content is aligned with each client's brand identity, tone of voice, guidelines, and campaign objectives.
• Monitor client social media accounts and identify opportunities to improve content performance, engagement, and audience growth.

Trends & Content

• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, viral content, memes, platform features, and online conversations.
• Proactively identify trends and recommend relevant opportunities for clients to participate in.
• Suggest and pitch creative content ideas, trendjacking opportunities, and social-first concepts to clients.
• Adapt trending formats and conversations into content that is relevant to each client's brand and audience.
• Continuously experiment with different content formats and approaches to improve organic performance.

Team Management

• Lead and manage the Social Media Executive in the planning and execution of social media content.
• Assign tasks and manage timelines to ensure social media deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Review and provide feedback on content before submission to clients or publication.
• Guide the Social Media Executive in content creation, trend identification, and social media best practices.
• Maintain a consistent standard of quality across all social media output.

Client Management & Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for social media-related client requests and requirements.
• Respond promptly to client messages, feedback, revisions, and ad hoc social media requests.
• Proactively communicate relevant trends, content opportunities, recommendations, and potential social media issues to clients.
• Work closely with Account Management, Creative, PR, and other internal teams to support client campaigns.
• Manage multiple clients and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.

Internal Social Media

• Manage and grow the company's internal social media channels.
• Develop and execute content strategies to increase followers, engagement, reach, and brand awareness.
• Ensure internal social media activities consistently work towards established follower growth and engagement KPIs.
• Identify and test new content formats and trends to drive organic growth.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be measured based on:

• Achievement of agreed client social media KPIs and campaign objectives.
• Consistent and timely execution of client content calendars and posting schedules.
• Growth in client reach, engagement, followers, and overall social media performance.
• Number and quality of proactive content and trend opportunities identified and executed.
• Achievement of internal social media follower growth and engagement targets.
• Quality, creativity, and consistency of content across all managed accounts.
• Timely response and turnaround to client requests and social media deliverables.
• Effective management and development of the Social Media Executive.
