Account Executive (Accounting) | RM3,500–RM4,000

Location: SS2, Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Working Days: Monday–Friday
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Salary: RM3,500–RM4,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for an Account Executive to join the Finance & Accounts team of our client, a growing FMCG and retail business in the food industry.

This role is suitable for candidates with hands-on accounting experience who are comfortable handling day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).
• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, as well as management reports.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end closing.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors when required.
• Assist with taxation and statutory compliance matters.
• Check and process company claims and supporting documents.
• Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience in AP, AR and GL is preferred.
• Experience handling a full set of accounts will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL Accounting is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with accounting systems.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

What We Offer

• Monthly basic salary of RM3,500–RM4,000, depending on experience.

2 Openings : 1 for Local Account & 1 for China Market Account (Mandarin Speaking Required)
