About the Role

Ascencio Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated Companion Animal Technical Sales Specialist to expand our companion animal nutrition business. The role combines technical product knowledge, customer relationship management, and territory sales development, focusing on dog and cat nutrition.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain business relationships with veterinary clinics, pet retail shops, and other relevant partners.
• Promote companion animal nutrition products and provide technical guidance on product features, benefits, and applications.
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions.
• Identify new business opportunities and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Coordinate product launches, roadshows, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
• Monitor competitor activities, market developments, and customer feedback to support business growth.
• Prepare sales performance reports and maintain accurate customer records.
• Manage regular field visits and travel within the assigned territory.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.
• Experience in pet food, veterinary products, or technical sales is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, and CRM or online portal systems.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel extensively within North or South Malaysia.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.
