• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.

• Proven ability to independently handle full set accounts and month-end closing.

• Strong experience in preparing management accounts, cash-flow forecasts and financial analysis.

• Good knowledge of AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, inventory accounting and Cost of Goods Sold.

• Experience in retail, trading or inventory-based businesses is strongly preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as AutoCount, SQL Accounting or equivalent.

• Good knowledge of Malaysia e-Invoice, MyInvois, tax, audit and statutory requirements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and financial-control skills.

• Able to work independently, manage deadlines and coordinate across departments.

• High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.

Payment Authority

• The Senior Finance Executive is responsible for preparing and verifying payment records and maintaining proper financial controls. Final approval and release of bank payments will remain with the authorised Director or Management.

• Take ownership of the company’s overall finance and accounting operations.

• Handle and oversee the company’s full set of accounts, including AP, AR, General Ledger and fixed assets.

• Manage seller and supplier payment preparation and ensure every payment is properly supported and traceable to the relevant Unit ID.

• Review bank, interbank, sales, purchase, inventory and Cost of Goods Sold reconciliations.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing and ensure all accounting adjustments are accurately recorded.

• Prepare and finalise monthly management accounts, including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement.

• Analyse revenue, gross profit, Cost of Goods Sold, operating expenses, net profit and cash-flow performance.

• Prepare cash-flow forecasts and highlight potential shortfalls, unusual movements and significant financial commitments.

• Oversee Malaysia e-Invoice, tax, audit and statutory documentation.

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries and other professional parties.

• Identify duplicate payments, unsupported purchases, incorrect classifications, financial leakage and control weaknesses.

• Develop and improve finance SOPs, reporting processes, payment controls and audit trails.

• Provide accurate financial information and recommendations to support Management decisions.
