Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Culinary or equivalent.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in related capacity or field.

• Experience in fusion cuisine, including the preparation of onigiri, sandwiches, handheld foods, and packaged ready-to-eat meals

• Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.

• Full-Time position

1. Develop new hot meal recipes and improve existing menu items.

2. Conduct product research, recipe formulation, and cooking trials.

3. Standardise recipes, cooking methods, and product specifications.

4. Prepare product costing and recommend cost-effective ingredients without compromising quality.

5. Work closely with Production, Operations, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance during product development.

6. Conduct product evaluations, sensory testing, and shelf-life assessments.

7. Ensure all products comply with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

8. Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), recipe cards, and production guidelines.

9. Support product launches by providing training and technical guidance to production and operations teams.

10. Source and evaluate new ingredients, equipment, and food trends to support innovation.

11. Troubleshoot product quality issues and recommend corrective actions.

12. Maintain accurate documentation of product development activities and trial results.

13. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

14. Experience infusion cuisine, including the preparation of onigiri, sandwiches, handheld foods, and packaged ready-to-eat meals.

15. Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
