eCommerce Intern Job Overview

An E-commerce Intern supports the day-to-day operations of an online store, assisting with tasks like product listing management, website updates, marketing campaigns, customer service inquiries, data analysis, and order fulfilment, gaining hands-on experience in managing an e-commerce platform and contributing to strategies to optimize sales and customer experience. Act as coordinator to run cross-functional projects/initiatives with a cross-function team.

Roles & Responsibilities

Internship role assignment will be in accordance with the intern's academic field

1. eCommerce Category Intern:

• Supports category team in executing strategies to improve sales and profitability.

• Assist Category team to execute promotional activities

• Assist in managing online product listings and ensuring accuracy

• Monitor inventory levels and update stock availability.

• Analyse, create and deliver various performance reports and insights.

• Supporting the timely execution of day-to-day online store operations

• Currently enrolled in a Business / Marketing / Data Analytics Degree or similar
  
  2. Digital Marketing Intern:

  • Support the Performance Marketing team in daily activities

  • Support the setup and execution of  social media & digital marketing campaigns.  (preparation, execution & performance tracking).

  • Analyse, create and deliver various campaign performance reports and insights

  • Assist with search engine optimization (SEO).

  • Research and develop promotional content for online platforms and social medias. 

  • Analysing analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.

  • Assist with report writing for social media analytics

  • Currently enrolled in eCommerce / Digital Marketing Degree  or similar.
    

3. Social Commerce Intern :

• Support the setup and execution of live-streaming events.

• Content creations

• Research and develop promotional content for online platforms and social medias.

• Analysing analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.

• Assist with report writing for social media analytics

• currently enrolled in Business / Digital Marketing / eCommerce Degree or related or similar
  
  

4. Customer Service Intern:

• Respond to customer inquiries via email and live chat.

• Resolve customer issues and complaints

currently enrolled in Business / Language Degree or similar.

5. Finance Intern:

• Assist finance department with various related tasks.

• Communicating with the team to track pending AR/AP knockoff and reconciliation. 

• Assist with filing and data entry recording.

• Maintaining accurate and detailed daily operation records and updating accounting files. 

• Using accounting software when performing accounting duties such as generating financial reports, invoices, purchase orders and other documents.

• Preparing and verifying expense reports and statements.

• Compile and analyse data, track information, and support the company.

• Currently enrolled in Finance, Account , Mathematics Degree or similar

6. eCommerce Power BI & Data Analyst Intern:

• Track key e-commerce metrics like sales, conversion rates, and customer engagement.

• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Generate reports to present insights to the team.

• Assist in designing and developing BI reports and interactive dashboards.

• Optimize and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within Power BI solutions, data presented in the dashboards and report.

• currently enrolled in Data Analytics Degree or similar.
  
  

7. eCommerce Operation & Warehouse Assistant Intern:

• Assist in managing inventory (inbound / outbound/ processing)

• Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location

• Inspect and verify stocks

• Assist in order fulfilment processes (pick / pack etc)

• Assist in activities related to inventory (Tracking, tagging, shelving, stock count, etc)

• Handle returns

• currently enrolled in Degree in Logistics or similar
