Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Assistant – Quality Gate to support and supervise daily Quality Gate activities. The role involves checking product quality, coordinating inspection activities and ensuring quality requirements are followed before products proceed to the next process.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Quality Gate activities to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Monitor and ensure inspection activities are carried out according to the required quality standards and procedures.
• Perform or assist with quality inspection and checking of products at the Quality Gate.
• Identify and report quality issues, defects or abnormalities to the relevant department.
• Follow up on quality issues and coordinate with Production / QA for necessary action.
• Ensure proper handling and recording of inspection results and quality-related information.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, records and documentation using a computer.
• Monitor the performance and work activities of Quality Gate personnel.
• Ensure the work area, inspection equipment and documents are properly maintained.
• Support the Quality team in other quality-related activities and improvement projects.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma / Certificate in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or related field.
• Experience in Quality Control, Production or Manufacturing is an advantage.
• Able to supervise and coordinate a team.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection and manufacturing processes.
• Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, disciplined and able to work independently.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and follow shift arrangements if required.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

• Klang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Production management: 3 years (Preferred)
