About Intangibles Consultancy Intangibles Consultancy Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based AI transformation, research and professional education firm helping organisations adopt and use AI more effectively.

We work with corporate leaders, industry partners and Institutes of Higher Learning across AI adoption, human-AI collaboration, workplace transformation and executive education. As we expand our corporate partnerships, we are looking for a driven individual who wants meaningful, hands-on exposure to business development, client engagement and AI transformation.

Role Description We are looking for a Business Development & Partnerships Intern to help grow our corporate partnerships and business pipeline. You will research target organisations and decision-makers, initiate outreach through LinkedIn, email and calls, and help develop conversations into qualified business opportunities. You may join selected client meetings alongside consulting team, gaining first-hand exposure to how corporate needs are understood, solutions are developed and business opportunities are progressed. This is a high-autonomy, performance-oriented internship. You will be given clear objectives, advisory support and the freedom to test approaches, learn from market feedback and determine what works.

What You will work on

  • Research target companies, industries and decision-makers
  • Identify and qualify prospective corporate clients and partners
  • Build and manage prospect and opportunity pipelines
  • Initiate outreach through LinkedIn, email and calls
  • Secure qualified discovery conversations
  • Follow up consistently with prospects
  • Support proposals, presentations and partnership materials
  • Participate in selected client meetings
  • Refine outreach strategies based on market feedback

How you will work You will have flexibility in organising much of your work independently, while maintaining availability for outreach, follow-ups, scheduled meetings and client discussions during normal business hours. You will receive regular advisory support and be expected to take ownership of your pipeline, follow through consistently and learn from market feedback. An initial 4-week performance and fit review will assess progress, commitment and suitability for continuation.

Who are we looking for Formal work experience is not essential. We are more interested in evidence of initiative, leadership, achievement, maturity and the ability to learn quickly. Relevant evidence may come from:

  • Leadership roles in CCAs, student organisations or team environments
  • Entrepreneurship, innovation projects, competitions or case challenges
  • Debate, public speaking or communications activities
  • Sports or performing arts demonstrating discipline and commitment
  • Independent projects, internships, volunteering or meaningful work experience
  • Demonstrated achievement, initiative or sustained commitment in academic, technical, vocational, co-curricular or other pursuits
  • Other experiences involving responsibility, teamwork, problem-solving or leadership

You should be resourceful, proactive, commercially curious, organised and comfortable initiating conversations with people you have not met before. Previous business development, sales or partnership experience is helpful, but not required. We care more about what you have initiated, led, built, achieved or contributed to than the number of years of formal work experience you have.

The experience may be particularly valuable for candidates who want meaningful, hands-on commercial exposure before their next stage of education, training or career development. Applications are welcomed from candidates across different educational pathways and stages who can demonstrate the initiative, maturity and capabilities required for the role.

What will you gain You will gain hands-on exposure to:

  • B2B business development and corporate partnerships
  • Engaging corporate decision-makers
  • Prospecting and client discovery
  • Pipeline and relationship management
  • AI transformation and executive education
  • Working in an entrepreneurial, research-driven consulting environment
  • Taking ownership of meaningful commercial work rather than simply observing

This experience may be particularly valuable for candidates seeking practical commercial exposure before their next stage of education, training or career development.

Compensation and Growth Opportunities

The internship includes a fixed monthly allowance plus performance-based incentives linked to qualified corporate opportunities and successful business conversions. Phase 1 runs from January to March 2027.

Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, commitment and commercial potential may be invited to continue to Phase 2 from April to July 2027, with increasing responsibility for corporate partnerships and business development opportunities.

Application Process

Along with your CV, please tell us about one thing you initiated, led, built or achieved that best demonstrates your ability to take ownership and make things happen. We are looking for people who are curious, driven and willing to step forward, learn quickly and create opportunities.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
