Job Purpose

To support the Company's business expansion by managing and coordinating new and existing projects, ensuring projects are completed according to customer requirements, agreed timelines, quality standards and cost targets.

1. RESPONSIBILITY

• Manage and coordinate engineering projects from project initiation until completion.
• Coordinate with customers on project requirements, specifications and technical matters.
• Review customer drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Warehouse and other departments to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Prepare project schedules, monitor progress and follow up on project activities.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), sample preparation and trial production.
• Monitor project quality, cost and delivery requirements.
• Identify project issues and coordinate with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and records.
• Support engineering changes and ensure relevant documents are updated accordingly.
• Monitor project risks and highlight potential delays or issues to Management.
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities related to projects.
• Participate in customer meetings, project reviews and technical discussions when required.
• Ensure project activities comply with Company procedures, quality requirements and customer requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the superior or Management.

COMPETENCY

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant engineering / project experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in wire harness, automotive, electronics or similar manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, product specifications and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of NPI, project management, engineering change and trial production is an advantage.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good project coordination and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, responsible and results-oriented.

Pay: RM2,009.12 - RM4,500.00 per month
