Our Client is a manufacturer specializing in powder metallurgy and precision metal components. The company produces sintered metal parts, self-lubricating bearings, and precision components for various industrial and automotive applications

Salary: RM6500 and above (based on experience and capability)

Allowance: Attendance & Transport allowance

Working Mode: Onsite | 8-5pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee manufacturing operations, improve production efficiency, and ensure product quality. The successful candidate will support production planning, process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve production targets

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production activities to ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved
• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor machine performance, production output, material usage, and process parameters
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production costs, waste, downtime, and defects
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve production-related issues
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, workplace safety requirements, and company procedures
• Prepare production reports and analyze manufacturing data to monitor performance
• Support new product introduction, process validation, and engineering changes when required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Preferably 2–3 years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering
• Experience in precision engineering, metal component manufacturing, or powder metallurgy will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, production control, and problem-solving techniques
• Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
