Role Description The Construction Supervisor is a full-time hybrid role based in Subang Jaya, with some work-from-home flexibility depending on project needs. This position oversees day-to-day site activities, including coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring work progress, and ensuring adherence to construction plans, specifications, and quality standards. The role includes conducting regular site inspections, enforcing safety protocols, identifying and resolving on-site issues, and maintaining accurate documentation such as daily reports and site records. The supervisor will communicate frequently with project managers, consultants, and clients to provide updates, align expectations, and support timely decision-making. The role also involves planning work sequences, optimizing resource usage, and supporting continuous improvement in construction processes and safety performance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and Site Supervision experience, including coordination of teams and contractors.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with project stakeholders, preparing reports, and addressing site issues.
• Candidates should possess Inspection skills to verify work quality, compliance with drawings, and adherence to standards.
• Candidates should possess Construction Safety knowledge to enforce safety rules, conduct toolbox talks, and support incident prevention.
• Candidates should ideally have experience in building or civil construction, with familiarity across residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under time and budget constraints.
• A relevant technical qualification or certification in construction, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic project documentation, use of construction-related software or tools, and a valid site safety passport or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
