Financial Reporting: Prepare and finalize accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and statutory accounts in strict compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Account Reconciliation: Review and reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and intercompany transactions regularly to identify discrepancies and ensure overall ledger accuracy.
Accounts Management: Oversee and streamline accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and aging debt collections.
Internal Controls: Implement, monitor, and maintain strong internal control systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mitigate financial risks and safeguard company assets.
Team Supervision: Supervise, mentor, and guide junior accounting staff, conduct performance evaluations, and review their daily work, journals, and schedules for completeness and accuracy.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial performance against budgets, conduct variance analyses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
Audit Support: Coordinate and prepare audit schedules, tax computations, and relevant documentation to support smooth internal, external, and statutory tax audits.
Other Duties: Execute ad-hoc financial assignments, cash flow projections, or other related duties as assigned by management to support business operations.
