Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Selangor, Malaysia. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), estimates, and tender documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring project costs, preparing cost plans and budgets, and tracking expenditures to support effective cost control. The role involves producing regular cost reports, evaluating variations and claims, and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to optimize value while maintaining quality and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to monitor budgets and manage project expenditures effectively.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in preparing and reviewing BOQ and Cost Planning to support accurate tendering and project forecasting.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Cost Reporting to prepare clear, timely financial reports and support decision-making.
• Relevant academic background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement processes, and standard forms of contract used in Malaysia.
• Competence in using quantity surveying or construction management software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with site teams, consultants, and suppliers.
