Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise database systems, ensuring performance, availability, security, and reliability across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database systems.
• Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and SQL optimisation.
• Manage backups, recovery, replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Support database migrations, capacity planning, and system improvements.
• Implement database security, access controls, and compliance measures.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support database automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in enterprise database administration.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, Tibero, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication, clustering, HA, and DR.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration and scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
