Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to company and kitchen SOP and policies.
• Assist direct supervisor according to instructions given.
• Decorate baked products for the final presentation.
• Quick grasp on product knowledge and understanding of the company’s vision.
• Capability to assist direct supervisor in creation of new products, develop and plan new recipes, or improve current products.
• Management and control of supplies and inventory stock levels.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of workstation and equipment.
• Ensure that quality of all products are maintained at all times during the production.
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company.

Job Requirements:

• Apprenticeships or fresh graduates in Advance Diploma of Pastry or equivalent are welcome to apply.
• 1 - 3 years working experience in Bakery / Pastry.
• Passion for baking Knowledge of bakery techniques, bakery food items, bakery food preparation, presentation and preservation and utilisation of bakery equipment. (Good piping/decorating skills will be an added advantage)
• Ensuring excellent kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good communication & organisation skills.
• Follow standards and instructions from the direct supervisor.Team player and able to work well with others.
• Good attendance.
• A can-do attitude with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Willing to learn.
• Detailed oriented.
• Available to work 5 days per week, including weekends according to shift schedule.
• Able to work in an environment that requires standing for up to 8 hour shifts.
• Able to work in an environment that may require occasional lifting (5kg or more) on the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
