Position: Laboratory Assistant
Location: Seri Botani, Perak

• Maternity Cover from April 2027 until August 2027
• Permanent position
• SOCSO & EPF

Job Responsibilities:

• To set up all laboratories in the school.
• To prepare materials and equipment as required by the science teacher.
• To prepare for practical lessons and examinations; setting out apparatus, cleaning, discard waste materials properly.
• To refill, label and clean laboratory reagent bottles.
• To make up stock solutions when required.
• To assist the science teacher during practical lessons and under the instruction/guidance of the teacher to support students during practical work/demonstration.
• To ensure labs and equipment are kept clean and tidy and that safety regulations are met including checking equipment, cleaning and sterilizing equipment.
• To carry out routine checking equipment, maintaining regular inventories of materials, books and equipment, conducting regular stock takes and arranging for repair where this cannot be performed in-house.
• To maintain a safe working environment for staff and students and to ensure the health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• To undertake any other tasks as directed by the Superior/Management as and when required.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
