Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Geophysicist role based in Telok Panglima Garang, Klang. The Junior Geophysicist will assist in planning and conducting geophysical surveys, including field data acquisition using appropriate instruments and techniques. Day-to-day tasks include collecting, organizing, and processing geophysical data, supporting data interpretation under the guidance of senior staff, and contributing to technical reports and project documentation. The role involves collaborating with geologists and engineers, maintaining equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and occasionally supporting site investigations and mapping activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform and support Geophysical Surveys and basic Geophysics applications.
• Proficiency in Geophysical Data Processing and general Data Processing workflows.
• Experience or training in field Data Acquisition using geophysical instruments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail in data handling.
• Willingness to work on-site and in outdoor field environments under varying conditions.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with geotechnical or environmental projects and relevant software tools is an advantage.
