Kota Trading Co. Sdn. Bhd., (SMR Factory) Tampin is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lee Rubber Group, which is a leading processor of natural rubber in the region and is headquartered in Singapore.

 

Kota Trading Co. Sdn. Bhd., (SMR Factory) Tampin specializes in the production of Standard Malaysian Rubber (SMR) and Technically Specified Rubber (TSR) that mainly for tyre manufacturers.

 

Kota Trading Co. Sdn. Bhd., (SMR Factory) Tampin maintains the testing quality of its testing laboratory to national and international standard. The operations of the laboratory are fully complied with the requirements of ISO/IEC *7025 and have been accredited with SAMM Award by Department of Standard Malaysia since 1997.

 

Kota Trading Co. Sdn. Bhd., (SMR Factory) Tampin has invested heavily in pollution control to preserve the quality of environment. The air pollution control system and effluent treatment plant are designed specially by the experience and expertised personnel from external. Both systems are operated and monitored by its internal trained staff.

 

Kota Trading Co. Sdn. Bhd., (SMR Factory) Tampin is equally emphasized on the development of its human resources.  Appropriate training activities are conducted either internally or externally to enhance the quality of its work forces. Likewise, concept of Occupational Safety and Health Management System is introduced and implemented in the plant to increase the safety and health awareness among the employees toward their working environment.
