KLIA Informatik Sdn Bhd. is the Information Communication Technology arm and a subsidiary company of the KLIA Premier Holdings group. We started in 1993 as K.L. International Airport Berhad (KLIAB), we were the former government body that was created specially to develop K.L. International Airport, Sepang. The completion of the airport, had left us with a wealth of expertise learnt and gained, and rather that we disband and return to the various government agencies where we had originally been assigned from, we had then received directive from the highest to privatise our expertise. Hence, we moved on as KLIA Consultancy Services Sdn. Bhd (KLIA Consult), an entity owned 70% by KLIA Premier Holdings and 30% by Ministry of Finance, Inc. The success of KLIA Consult as a prominent project management consultancy corporation focusing on a wide area of business applications, has propelled us to privatise our different areas of business interests under the investment umbrella of KLIA Premier Holdings. KLIA Informatik was formed to focus on the ICT businesses. As a group, we have handled projects and contracts worth up to more than RM10 Billion in value. Our Group Executive Chairman is the former Managing Director of KLIAB, Tan Sri Dato Ir. Jamilus Hussein. As the ICT arm, KLIA Informatik Sdn. Bhd. also operate as the in house ICT sub-consultant or sub-contractor for the group.

From this expertise, we venture into other airports such as Inchon International Airport and recently Soekarno Hatta International Airport. Based on these experiences, KLIA Informatik has developed in house expertise in the ICT Design Consultancy, Systems Engineering, Project Management, Integration and Operational Readiness (creations of Standard Operationg procedures). Our team members are highly skilled Malaysian professionals, very much motivated, with credentials ranging from airport implementation experiences in far ranging airports such as in Turkey, Taiwan, Korea and the United States. Besides airports, the team were also involved in the development of the ICT Master Plan for the Putrajaya, the new federal capital for Malaysia. Continuing from this exercise, the team then managed the implementation of the Master Plan until late last year. On the transportation sector, KLIA Informatik is responsible for the project management and implementation of the ITIS (Integrated Transport Information System) for DBKL (Kuala Lumpur City Council).We have built strong partnerships with some of the leading ICT Solution providers, as well as develop expertise for integration and software applications.
