• Design, manufacture, supply and installation of precast concrete products for buildings, stadium and bridges

Prestressing is a system of introducing high strength steel cables or bars in concrete elements to produce a more efficient structural concrete system. With the introduction of prestressing, concrete elements can be made slimmer and with long spans. One example is that prestressing may be used for an auditorium designed with a large span without intermediate supports to achieve maximum space utilization and acoustic quality, which cannot be efficiently constructed by conventional reinforced concrete system.

In addition to the above capabilities, YLSE also undertakes: -

• Design and implementation of external post-tensioning works for precast box section segments of bridges, LRT and MRT.
• Design and installation of strengthening/ reinstatement works for buildings and bridges using specialize techniques such as external post-tensioning, plate bonding and fiber wrap system.
