Boostorder is hiring: Marketing Intern

Picture a distributor running forty sales reps on a WhatsApp group and an Excel sheet that's one typo from chaos. That's the problem Boostorder exists to fix — we're an AI-first B2B sales automation platform, already trusted by 400+ brands and distributors — including names like Heineken, Campbell's, Repsol, Ah Cheng Laksa, and Bungkuk's Kaw Kaw — across FMCG, auto parts, industrial/hardware, and F&B, currently across Malaysia and Taiwan, with Japan and Singapore next.

About the role
Most people think marketing means Canva graphics and a content calendar — work that's done the moment the post goes out or the invite gets sent. Here, sending the invite is the easy 10%. The other 90% is what happens after: someone reads it and thinks "why should I bother," and now it's on you to answer that.

That's not a content problem, it's a sales problem — and you'll be doing it constantly. Getting a decision-maker to actually show up isn't a broadcast, it's a negotiation. Understanding what a distributor actually cares about — margins, stock, their own customers — isn't a nice-to-have, it's the difference between an invite that gets ignored and one that gets a "yes." You can't market well to a business you don't understand, and you can't understand a business without talking to the person running it.

This role has three pillars, every week:

Research — find the companies worth our sales team's time, and understand their business well enough to know why they'd care about us.
Outbound — reach out and follow up, whether that's inviting them to an event (marketing) or opening a real sales conversation (sales). Same skill, different endpoint.
Run the event — show up on the ground, help it run without a hitch, and see the decision-makers you researched actually walk into the room.

You'll leave this internship having done real marketing and understood why it never works in isolation from sales — a distinction most people don't learn until years into their career.

Does this sound like you? (Virtue 德)
None of that works if you're the wrong person for it. Before we get into what you'll learn or how you'll be measured, here's the character we're actually hiring for:

Customer Success — you think about the business on the other end of the call, not just the number
Data Driven — you would rather check the number than guess
Continuous Improvement — you assume there is a better way, and you go find it
Curiosity — you genuinely want to know how these businesses actually work
Coachability & Work Ethic — you take feedback the first time, and you keep going after the fifth "no"

What you'll pick up along the way (Skill 才)
If that's you, here's what this role actually builds in you — not just tasks completed, but skill you keep:

Real exposure to SPIN/SNAP selling and MEDDIC/BANT — the frameworks our actual sales team runs on, in actual customer conversations
A fast education in supply chain and B2B trade, from watching how brands and distributors really operate
AI-augmented research and content workflows you help us build, not just use

How we'll know you're winning (Output 岗)
Character and skill matter, but we don't grade on either. Every role at Boostorder, this one included, is measured on real numbers — not a vague "assist with marketing initiatives":

Event attendance — invitations sent → registrations generated → attendance rate
Prospect lists — companies researched → qualified prospects added to CRM → lead acceptance rate by our Sales & Marketing Executives (SME) → data accuracy rate
Event execution — preparation completed on time → smooth vendor & stakeholder coordination → post-event satisfaction score

Life at Boostorder
We build around three things that actually drive performance — not perks, not pressure:

Play — Clear goals, then real room to figure out how to hit them your way. You'll get the ground to experiment and try things nobody's told you to try, and we actually stop to celebrate the small wins along the way — in a team that's healthy, fun, and doesn't take itself too seriously.
Purpose — You're not just generating leads, you're part of how AI actually reaches small and mid-sized businesses — the ones usually left behind by "digital transformation." Every distributor you help move off a WhatsApp group and onto a real system is a business (and the people running it) getting a more productive, less chaotic way to work. That's real impact, not a mission statement.
Potential — This is where you learn what marketing and business actually look like outside a textbook. You'll talk to real business owners, hear how they actually think about digital and AI investment — what excites them, what scares them, what they're not ready for yet — and walk away understanding something most people don't get exposure to until years into their career.
