We believe internships should provide students with meaningful exposure to the real working environment. At Kaharo Jewels, you will work closely with our Finance team and gain hands-on experience in day-to-day finance and accounting activities.

Internship Responsibilities

As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you will support the Finance team in various day-to-day activities, including:

• Assist with daily finance and accounting operations
• Perform data entry, documentation, and financial record-keeping
• Assist with bookkeeping and maintaining accurate financial records
• Prepare, check, and organize invoices, receipts, payment records, and related documents
• Assist with payment tracking and follow-up
• Support bank and account reconciliations
• Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules, and basic financial analysis
• Support month-end closing activities
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation
• Assist the Finance team in reviewing and organizing financial data
• Support finance-related projects and ad-hoc assignments when required

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or other related fields
• Able to commit to a minimum 6-month full-time internship
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial information
• Responsible, organized, and willing to learn
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial data
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of accounting software or financial systems is an added advantage
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Students who can start immediately or on short notice will have an added advantage
