About Us

Pegacorn Sdn. Bhd. is the corporate headquarters supporting the operations of Subway Malaysia. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance team. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in corporate finance and accounting while allowing you to develop practical skills in a professional working environment.

Work Placement:
The successful candidate will be based at Pegacorn Sdn. Bhd. HQ, Subang Jaya, Selangor, and will be supporting the finance operations of The Barn, a non-halal F&B company under the group.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Assist in processing invoices, payment vouchers, and expense claims.
• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and analyses as required.
• Organize and maintain finance-related documents.
• Perform ad-hoc administrative and finance-related tasks assigned by the Finance team.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field.
• Minimum internship duration of 4 months and above.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Responsible, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Details

• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Location: HQ Office, Subang Jaya, Selangor
• Work Placement: Supporting The Barn (Non-Halal F&B)
