Job Description

Responsibilities

Location: Macpherson/Ubi

Commitment: Part-time (Both weekends required)

Rate: $12-14/hr basic, in addition to sales commissions

Reports to: Studio Manager / Business Owner

Role Overview

The Bridal Studio Assistant supports the daily running of the bridal studio, ensuring a seamless experience for every bride. This role combines client-facing responsibilities with backend operational tasks such as appointment coordination, gown fulfilment, and studio upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

Welcome and assist brides during their fitting appointments and gown viewings.

Provide thoughtful recommendations and styling advice aligned with their preferences.

Follow up with clients via WhatsApp, email, or phone on enquiries, quotations, and bookings.

Ensure all clients feel supported and cared for from first contact to gown collection.

Operations & Fulfilment

Coordinate appointment schedules and maintain booking systems.

Manage gown check-ins, alterations, and handovers with accuracy and timeliness.

Track gown inventory, cleaning, and logistics (rentals, returns, and deliveries).

Prepare client documents, fitting notes, and payment records.

Studio Management

Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation of the studio.

Support in event setup, photo shoots, or special campaigns when required.

Monitor supplies and manage simple procurement or vendor coordination.

Requirements

Prior experience in retail, fashion, events, or bridal industry preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, service-oriented attitude.

Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in managing tasks independently.

Comfortable using digital tools (Google Workspace, WhatsApp Business, scheduling systems).

Available to work weekends (required) and occasional evenings for fittings or events.
