MUET Preparatory Classes | International Students

MERITUS University is seeking an experienced and dedicated Part-Time MUET Tutor to conduct MUET preparatory classes for international students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct structured and engaging MUET preparatory classes for international students.
• Plan lessons and prepare appropriate MUET teaching materials, exercises and classroom activities.
• Provide practice and guidance in all four MUET components: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
• Familiarise students with the MUET examination format, requirements and assessment criteria.
• Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback and guidance.
• Support the set-up and implementation of the MUET preparatory programme, including the preparation and organisation of relevant programme documents and materials.
• Assist with programme administration, including student enrolment and providing guidance to students on MUET examination registration and required documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in TESL, English Language, Education or a related field.
• Proven experience in teaching MUET and preparing students for the MUET examination.
• Strong knowledge of the current MUET examination format, requirements and assessment.
• Experience in preparing or using MUET teaching materials and practice resources.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills.
• Must be available to teach on weekdays.
• Must be able to conduct classes face-to-face/on-site at Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur.
• Applicants who can commence immediately are preferred.
• Applicants with substantial MUET teaching experience are strongly preferred.
• Highlighting their MUET teaching experience, relevant qualifications and experience in preparing students for the MUET examination.

Pay: RM80.00 - RM100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80.0 – 100.0 per week
