Requirements

Responsibilities

Coaching & Player Development

  • Deliver engaging group and private coaching for juniors and adults, tailoring drills to each player's level.
  • Monitor progress, set achievable goals, and give clear feedback to help players improve.

Session Planning & Operations

  • Design weekly training plans, warm-ups, and practice drills that develop technique and match readiness.
  • Handle court setup, equipment checks, and punctual start and finish of classes.

Community & Events

  • Support organisation of local matches, clinics, and membership drives to grow our academy community.
  • Communicate professionally with parents and members and help maintain a welcoming club atmosphere.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of badminton coaching experience at club, school, or academy level.
  • Coaching certification or diploma preferred, or equivalent practical coaching experience.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of badminton techniques, footwork, and match strategies.
  • Basic fitness training knowledge and ability to plan progressive sessions; first aid certification is a plus.

Soft Skills & Qualities

  • Clear communicator who can motivate different age groups and provide constructive feedback.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
