Universal Robina Munchy's (URM), part of Universal Robina Corporation (URC), is looking for an:

Position Title: Intern - Corporate Communication

Employment Type: Internship

The Intern is responsible to support internal and external communication initiatives to strengthen the company’s corporate image, employee engagement and employer branding.

What are the Job Responsibilities?

• Assist in drafting and editing internal announcements, newsletters, articles, press materials and corporate messages.
• Support employer-branding content for LinkedIn and other corporate communication channels.
• Create basic communication materials, including posters, presentation slides, digital banners and event collateral.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather information, photographs and updates for communication purposes.
• Support the planning and execution of employee-engagement activities, corporate events and community initiatives.
• Maintain the corporate communication calendar and assist in scheduling content.
• Monitor media coverage and social media mention and prepare simple reports.
• Organize communication materials, photographs and other digital assets.
• Ensure all communication materials follow the company’s branding guidelines and tone of voice.
• Provide administrative and project support for corporate communication initiatives.

What are the Key requirements and Qualifications?

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good attention to detail, organization and time management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva or other basic design tools.
• Basic knowledge of social media content creation and digital communication.
• Creative, proactive and comfortable working with different stakeholders.
• Photography, videography or video-editing skills would be an advantage.
